Meet Brian – An Independent for Congress

Brian Patrick O'Gorman is a write-in candidate for the November 2025 General Election.  He is a husband, father of three, and a disabled veteran who served 16 years as a Field Medic in multiple military units.  Raised by two military parents, he’s committed his life to service — both in uniform and through grassroots community volunteering after his medical discharge.  Helping people is what Brian really likes to do.  And he's good at it.

Brian is not running for Congress out of ambition. He’s running out of frustration and anger.  He is willing to put aside his personal objectives that are important to him in order to help reclaim our Nation and help our People.

Brian believes both major parties have betrayed the American People by putting party before country — just as George Washington warned. From backroom deals that sidelined true voices in the Democratic Party, to the normalization of extremist ideologies in the Republican Party, both sides have eroded trust, fueled division, and ultimately failed Americans.

He’s not here to play politics.  He’s here to fight for a better future — one that lifts EVERYONE regardless of station.  He will not allow himself to be forced by either party into voting for purely ideological reasons.  Pathos, Ethos, and Logos, in differing degrees to each based on situation, will drive every decision Brian makes as YOUR Representative.  Pathos pushes him to run.  Ethos evokes compassionate action.  Logos prioritizes fact instead of fiction.
